About Elisabetta

Elisabetta grew up in a family very much embedded with the culture, the traditions and the offerings of the stunning riviera of Tuscany which encompasses Livorno and the Etruscan coast.

As a child her parents and grandparents used to bring her to explore local hidden gems that, at that time, were little known. She marveled at the beauty of tiny villages and savored the unique flavors of artisanal products that truly represented this area.

 

Along the years she kept this enthusiasm alive, even when she started travelling to pursue her dream of becoming a ballet dancer. Because of a knee injury she had to hang up her ballet shoes. Her life took a turn and she decided to study several years to become a Certified Sommelier.

 

Her new career opened up a new world for her. She moved to the United States to support and promote Italian wines in that market and around the world.

 

Nowadays you can find Elisabetta half a year in Livorno and the other half in the U.S.

With a keen sense of what international visitors look for, she has curated a selection of off-the-beaten-path experiences that will introduce you to the wonders of Livorno and its surroundings.
